If you want to explore PPC (pay per click) marketing, such as Google Adwords, do good keyword research and bid as cheaply as you can for a wide variety of low-traffic search terms. There is no point trying to bid for the really expensive keywords when you aren’t making any money.

Only when you have the money and the experience should you go explore the more elaborate, more expensive marketing strategies.

Will affiliate marketing work for everyone? No, it will not! Not if you saddle yourself with too many new tasks. Information overload will lead to burnout! What a shame that would be— you will have missed out on the tremendous opportunities that lie in affiliate program sales. The greatest pitfall of all? Failing to keep things simple!
